Ordinary replacement mufflers don’t stand a chance against the extreme temperatures and pounding exhaust gas pulsation generated by the rotary engine. Many of these replacement mufflers will quickly burn up the packing material and self-destruct under these harsh conditions.

RACING BEAT STREET MUFFLER SUIT HIGH POWER PORTED NA ENGINES

For the ultimate in street performance for large bridgeported and peripheral ported engines, this muffler even though we didnt make it works awsomely with our RFR 200 (RR2) resonators in a twin primary system or our RFR 250 RR2 resonator in a short primary single system.

This muffler is a large diameter high-flow muffler designed for street ported engines as well as the stock 1981-1982 RX-7 chassis. It consists of two 1.75-inch tubes that collect into one 2.375-inch tube. It is slightly louder than our other Power Pulse Mufflers. This Power Pulse Main Muffler assembly interchanges exactly with the stock RX-7 muffler on the 1981-82 chassis years. The main body of the muffler measures 8 inches in diameter and 18 inches in length. The heavy-duty construction, both internally and externally, ensures a long life.

REPACKABLE MUFFLER REPACK KITS

Repack kits for your repackable muffler are available at a very reasonable price only $45.00AUD.  Most people who buy a repack muffler also buy a repack kit with it. 

After a period of time the noise level of your race car will increase as the packing slowly compacts and deteriotates.  You will also find power also starts to drop off and the sound goes from deep note to tinny "lawnmower" sound.

Included in the re-pack kit is stainless steel & glass needle mat as well as packing instructions.

Is it easy?  Yep - my grandma could do it.

High quality large bore "bullet proof" resonator suitable for naturally aspirated rotary engines everything from extend ported engines thru to peripheral ported engines, where noise reduction and a deep note is required as in road use.  Good results are achieved when used in conjunction with RFS 250 & RF 250.

RFR 250

Primary developed for non-rotary applications, although made to withstand the punishment a rotary will put it thru.
Significantly less noise reduction is achieved with this design of resonator.
Ideally used in  rotary applicaions where room does not allow the use of RFRR 250 to RFRR 400.
